Le programme Paludisme et maladies tropicales négligées, en tant que chef de file des efforts visant à mettre fin aux maladies et aux décès liés au paludisme, affine et développe des outils et des approches, soutient les programmes nationaux et rassemble des preuves et des données pour permettre aux gouvernements nationaux de poursuivre l'élimination du paludisme.
PATH recrute un associé financier pour une mise en œuvre pilote de la chimioprévention du paludisme pérenne (CMP) en République démocratique du Congo (RDC). Il / elle assistera le PADM dans les tâches financières et administratives et collaborera avec l'équipe de projet PMC dans les tâches d'assistance au programme.
L'associé financier sera sous la supervision de Kongo Central PADM.
Responsabilités:
- Travailler en étroite collaboration avec le personnel du programme lors des formations et des réunions pour faciliter les paiements et vérifier l'exactitude des détails avant l'approbation de KC PADM.
- Assist to Check the accuracy of the receipts and vouchers presented to back-up expenses for completeness of the support documents.
- Assist to Check validity of expenses and receipts presented for payment with respect to reasonability, allowability and allocability basis.
- Prepare and ensure proper coding on RAT prepared by staff for validity and advise necessary adjustments to originator.
- Report any internal control or control activities issue to KC PADM.
- Ensure that all invoices received from vendors are processed in an orderly manner and duly supported by proper documentation.
- Liaise with the Finance Team to ensure that expenses recurring in nature are processed and paid in time e.g., telephone, internet, training.
- Helps distribute financial reports and invoices to internal and external customers. Reviews expense reports to ensure compliance with donor & PATH guidelines.
- Maintains up to date accurate and soft complete records in required formats for all financial transactions.
- Assists monthly project financial reporting and maintains local file copies and supporting documentation.
- Assists in the reconciliations of workshop advance payments.
- Initiate reclasses for KC PADM approval.
- Providing support to special events, workshops, and conferences.
- Support also other projects, out of malaria projects, in case of need, on events such as Workshop, travel, etc...
- Assist the PMC technical project team in reviewing the payment lists from for the preparation of Mobile Money and coordinating the logistics with regards to supporting documents for various payments.
- Assist in tracking expenses and accuracy for services rendered on account and ensure they are within agreed limits.
- Serve as Program assistant when needed and collaborate with the logistic officer for any procurement and logistic processes.
Required skills and Experience.
- University Diploma in Administration and Finance or economy, or management or equivalent
- A minimum of 3 years, relevant progressive experience preferable in a busy NGO set up.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Proactive, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability work with government officials.
- Strong event planning and management skills.
- Ability to work with multiple teams across diverse background.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Adaptable to changing priorities.
- Good time management skills and the ability to prioritize.
- Experience working under deadlines.
- Proven ability to work in a team environment with minimal supervision.
- Fluency in French and beginner English, including excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- High numeracy, sound technical skills and analytical approach to work.
- Problem-solving skills and initiative.
- Hands on experience in Business World will be an added advantage.
This position does not attract international terms and conditions. The post holder will be considered as a local staff and will not have international terms and conditions of employment.
Applicants considered for this position are to be DRC nationals. This position is based in Kisantu. Candidates outside of Kisantu will be responsible for their relocation expenses.
